Policies and Procedures
BOOKING: For all portrait sessions; a non-fundable deposit is required to book and hold the date for your session and serves as a cancellation fee.
**For wedding packages; a non refundable deposit is due immediately to book and hold the date of your event and also serves as a cancellation fee. The remaining balance is due thirty (30) days before the date of the wedding. You can break this up into multiple payments however you see fit.
PAYMENT: All sessions and packages (plus taxes) can be paid via cash, Visa or Mastercard via website.
Refund Policy: In the case of camera failure, inclement weather, or any other unforeseen incident that prevents Memories with Christina Ne’Cole from shooting on a scheduled date a new date will be scheduled or client will be refund of their deposit, if applicable.
No refund will be given under any circumstances if you fail to attend the activity on the day and at the time listed, when the booking was made.
Due to the nature of digital photography and the fact that photographs, once sent, cannot be returned; Memories with Christina Ne’Cole has a strict NO REFUNDS POLICY. Once a transaction has been completed (i.e., the buyer selected and paid for the photo and then Memories with Christina Ne’cole sent the buyer the correct photograph) it is then considered non-refundable. If a buyer has selected and purchase an incorrect photo, he/she must notify Memories with Christina Ne’cole, before receiving the “incorrect” photograph.
Refunds will NOT be given due to “not liking a photo”, selecting an incorrect photo after the buyer has already received the photograph, or any other reason. If a mistaken photo is sent to the buyer, as documented on the invoice, will Memories with Christina Ne’Cole send the correct photo to the buyer free of charge.
CANCELLATION POLICY: For portrait sessions, client forfeits their deposit paid to book the session.
For weddings and events, if for any reason the Client cancels before the wedding date, the Client will forfeit the deposit to hold the wedding or event date as a cancellation fee. Cancellation must be sent in writing, by mail or e-mail. However, if the client requires to change the wedding date, I will do my best to accommodate the change and no fee will be charged as long as the new date is available and within five months of the original event date. If I am not available for the new date, the original contract will be cancelled and subject to the cancellation policy.
If Memories with Christina Ne’cole cannot perform this Contract due to fire or other casualty, strike, act of God, or other cause beyond the control of the parties, or due to Photographer’s illness or emergency, then the Photographer shall return the retainer fee to the Client but shall have no further liability with respect to the Contract. This limitation on liability shall also apply in the event that photographic materials are damaged in processing, lost through camera or other media malfunction, lost in the mail, or otherwise lost or damaged without fault on the part of the Photographer.
